2016-2017 Corporate Responsibility

Community Outreach

Engaging in causes that are meaningful to us and our communities has been a long-standing tradition at Newfield. We believe it’s important to give back to the communities where we operate and where our employees live and work. The Company and our employees spend countless hours in support of local charities and events. The Newfield Foundation is the heart of our charitable giving—enabling us to share our success with organizations that make a difference in our local communities.

Matching Gifts

We continue to support causes important to our employees with a Matching Gifts program. Matching our employee contributions dollar-for-dollar enables them to double their donations to their favorite charities and shows our support of their cause.

In 2016, we matched nearly $147,937 in donations to 210 organizations. In the second year of the matching program for our Political Action Committee, we matched $31,400 to additional charities supported by our employees.

Newfield matches donations dollar-for-dollar up to $2,500 per person annually. Topping the chart with the highest matched donations in 2016 were the American Heart Association, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Panther Creek Inspiration Ranch, Marietta College and the University of Oklahoma Foundation, Inc.
